Doozies Ice Cream to reopen for season today
Doozies Ice Cream will be celebrating its seasonal opening at 2 p.m. Friday, March 29.
Doozies is the only original ice cream shop in Mount Pleasant and is hitting its 34th year of business this summer. It will be serving until 10 p.m. Friday night. Clyde Dosenberry has owned the small ice cream operation since its first opening.
Doozies serves up a variety of sweet treats every year. Floats, shakes and both hard and soft serve ice cream are just a few of their menu items. With ice cream flavors spanning from classic vanilla to black cherry and pineapple.
The menu is constantly evolving and introduces new exotic treats every opening season. The shop also serves dairy and lactose-free products for individual needs.
Due to limited stock, Doozies staff asks customers to keep an open mind when choosing their flavors in case they run out.
Doozies is located at 1310 E. Pickard St. next door O’Reilly Auto Parts and across the street from Meijer.
