David DiLeo will return to Central Michigan
Forward David DiLeo will return to the Central Michigan men's basketball team for his senior season.
DiLeo was attempting to make a bid for the NBA Draft but ultimately withdrew his name from contention to return to the Chippewas for the 2019-20 season.
As a junior, DiLeo emerged as an offensive leader averaging 12.1 points per game on 41.7-percent shooting from long range.
The Iowa City, Iowa native started all 35 games last season for CMU and will look to lead its core group of returning players- including seniors forward Rob Montgomery, guard Dallas Morgan and junior guards Matt Beachler and Kevin McKay.
That group of five players could see a lot of game action next season, depending on how head coach Keno Davis elects to utilize them.
