The Mid-American Conference released its preseason media poll Tuesday morning, and it's not pretty for the Chippewas.

Central Michigan was picked to finish last in the MAC West Division, holding the lowest amount of points among all teams in the conference.

Shockingly, first-year coach Jim McElwain's squad earned one first-place vote.

Ohio unanimously earned 24 first-place votes to take the MAC East Division. Miami (Ohio) and Buffalo followed behind. The Bobcats were also selected to win the MAC Championship.

In the MAC West, Toledo earned the top slot with 15 first-place votes ahead of Western Michigan (5) and Northern Illinois (3).

MAC Media Day is set to begin promptly at 11 a.m.
