Health department confirms first coronavirus case in Isabella County

The first case of the novel coronavirus in Isabella County was confirmed by the Central Michigan District Health Department on March 23. 

There are now 1,328 cases in the state of Michigan, with 15 confirmed deaths, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. 

Melissa DeRoche, CMDHD's public information officer, said the patient has a history of domestic travel. 

The department has confirmed three other cases within Clare, Gladwin and Roscommon county.
