Thomas is the student coordinator for Central Civics, a program run out of the Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center that works to develop civic skills and promote active citizenship. “Every Day is Earth Day” is a special mini-series that celebrates the spirit of Earth Day with a focus on action through civic engagement, media literacy and opportunities at CMU. This is the podcast’s second-year run with Teresa Homsi, a campus sustainability coordinator with Central Sustainability and Facilities Management.
