Picks of the Week: 'Hot Sauce Committee Part 2,' Newser

"Hot Sauce Committee Part 2" by Beastie Boys

Call them goofy, silly or the ever-feared "too white," but the Beastie Boys have been recording hip-hop for 28 years and few acts do it better.

"Hot Sauce Committee Part 2" is the first original studio album to include the Beasties spitting rhymes since "To The Five Boroughs" in 2004.

The intelligence and fun-loving bombast that has made the group so popular over the last three decades is on display in a big way here, nowhere as much as the outrageous posse cut "Too Many Rappers" featuring Nas.

The album drops May 3, but in response to pirates leaking the radio-edited version, the Beasties have made the full, uncensored album available streaming online at www.hotsaucecommittee.com.
