Couple to speak for MS Awareness Month

Central Michigan University alumna Jennifer Digmann and her husband, Dan, a graduate student, will speak as part of Multiple Sclerosis Awareness month at 7 p.m. March 17 in the Bovee University Center Rotunda.

Their talk is titled "Achieving in Spite of Adversity."

The Digmanns both have MS and have lived with the disease for more than 30 combined years. They were recently asked to be one of 12 couples featured in "A Dose of Devotion: How Couples Living with Multiple Sclerosis Keep Their Love Strong."

Dan was diagnosed with MS in 2000, and Jennifer was diagnosed in 1997. Dan has the relapsing-remitting form of the disease, and Jennifer has a more advanced form called secondary-progressive. She can no longer walk.
