RSO to host global health conference Saturday
Universities Allied for Essential Medicine, a registered student organization at Central Michigan University, will host a conference Saturday, April 11.
"Health for All: Ensuring Social Justice in Global Health," will take place at 9 a.m. in the Education and Human Services French Auditorium.
The event will consist of several panels and address what students can do to impact global health. The conference aims to inform and empower participants on a myriad of global health disparities happening worldwide.
Speakers include Phuoc Le, professor at University of California Berkeley, resident at University of Maryland Elizabeth Wiley and many more. Keynote speakers will be world renowned AIDS activists The Alaei Brothers.
