Registration for women's conference ends April 1
Young Women, Strong Leaders conference will take place at 8 a.m. Friday in the Bovee University Center.
The conference will provide skill development and professional mentoring opportunities to prepare women for success in their professional lives, given by women leaders from student, academic, corporate and political levels.
Those interested must register online and pay $25 to attend. More than 60 scholarships are available for covering the fee. For scholarship information, email Susy Avery at averys3@michigan.gov.
The registration deadline is April 1. To register, visit wrc.msu.gov.
The conference will begin at 8:15 with registration and check-in, followed by an opening speech from keynote speaker Elizabeth Ross. There will be breakout sessions throughout the day, followed by a lunch and closing comments.
