The Central Michigan University Police Department is investigating three attempted burglaries at residence halls.

A custodial staff member discovered two rooms on the terrace levels of the Woldt and Emmons halls where the windows had been visibly disturbed. This was found on May 20.

The day after, a similar event was reported at Larzelere Hall. The CMU Police do not believe entry was gained in either incident.

"There were cut screens and broken windows, but no indication of entry," said Lt. Cameron Wassman of CMUPD.

The police cannot obtain video footage of the attempted burglaries because cameras at East Campus do not cover the affected areas, and there are no cameras in the North Residential Complex.

CMUPD request anyone with information regarding the incidents contact them at (989) 774-3081. They have yet to receive any informational calls.
