A group of 14 photojournalism students participated in the 2015 Annual Photojournalism Workshop led by the nationally recognized photographer and filmmaker, Danny Wilcox Frazier, photography professor Kent Miller and alumni volunteers.

The group will be displaying their work at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14 in the Charles V. Park Library auditorium. Each student will show pictures they took for the workshop and give a presentation about the photo stories they completed, talking about their meaning and experiences taking the photographs.

The photo stories completed in the week-long intensive workshop this year had the theme of "Fences: Faces of Migration."

"(The theme) is to tell the untold stories of the human beings that are migrants," Miller said. "They put a human face to the idea. There is no better way to learn about diversity than experiencing it first hand and get to know the people."

This is the fourth year the workshop has been held at Central Michigan University. Students were chosen based on interest and commitment.

Frazier's work focuses on marginalized communities across the United States. He also photographed the 2008 - 2012 U.S. presidential campaigns for TIME magazine and is a contributing photographer at Mother Jones magazine.
