Baseball sets date for postponed game against Oakland

Central Michigan's postponed baseball game against Oakland from April 6 has been rescheduled for Monday, May 9 at 4:05 p.m. at Theunissen Stadium, according to Head Coach Steve Jaksa.

The original game was cancelled due to poor weather in the Mount Pleasant area.

The April 6 postponement was the second game this season that was changed due to weather for the Chippewas. The first time this season was on March 25 when snow forced CMU and Kent State to play at the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex at Davenport University in Grand Rapids.

CMU has yet to play Oakland this season, but will play the Golden Grizzlies in Rochester on April 27.

CMU is 8-28 overall and 3-6 in the Mid-American Conference. The Chippewas play at Notre Dame Wednesday at 6:05 p.m.
