Women's track team to hold walk-on tryouts

The Central Michigan women’s track and field team is holding walk-on tryouts for all event categories beginning Sept. 12.
The CMU Track and Field announced the opportunity on Twitter on Monday.
“Any CMU ladies with track and field experience looking to continue in college? We are hosting tryouts this year!” the post read.
There will be an informational meeting at 2:30 p.m. on Friday on the bleachers inside the Indoor Athletic Complex.
The actual tryouts begin Sept. 12 with a vertical-jump test and a 60-meter sprint test. tryouts continue until Friday Sept. 16.
