Heffernan, Ellingwood fall in online polls

Multiple Central Michigan wrestlers fell in the Intermat.com amateur wrestling's rankings on Tuesday, following the Cliff Keen Invitational over the weekend. 

Intermat.com is the home for high school and collegiate rankings. After a sixth-place finish at the Invitational, the Chippewas were dropped from the team tournament rankings, but stayed at N0. 16 in dual competition.  

Junior Colin Heffernan fell from No. 10 to No. 13 in 157 pounds after suffering his first loss of the season.  Junior Jordan Ellingwood fell from No.11 to No.14 at 184 pounds and Brent Fleetwood fell out of the rankings at 125. 

Sophomore Justin Oliver moved up from No. 7 to No. 6 in 149 pound weight class, while senior Corey Keener is now ranked No. 19 for 133 pounds.

USA Today kept Central Michigan at No. 14 for the third straight week.
