University delays operations until 11:30 a.m. due to weather

The main campus and Global Campus headquarters of Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant are delaying operations until 11:30 a.m. due to inclement weather, according to a CMU News release.
A decision for operations beyond 11:30 a.m. will be made by 10 a.m.
All buildings are closed with the exception of residence halls and all events are cancelled until 11:30 a.m., the release states. Classes that start at 11 a.m. are cancelled.
Employees who work in 24-hour operations "should check with their supervisor for specific instructions relative to reporting to work," the release states. All other employees should report when the university reopens.
The community should monitor the university's Facebook and Twitter pages, visit cmich.edu or contact the CMU Information Line at 989-774-7500 for updates. The release also states to watch for email updates or monitor local media.
