Weather advisory issued for Mount Pleasant
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Isabella and surrounding counties from midnight through 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The service estimates a snow accumulation of 3-5 inches over the two-day span, said Brandon Hoving, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids.
Drivers have been advised to use caution during their commutes.
"It's been a while since most folks have driven on snow covered roads," Hoving said. "So folks should give themselves a little more space between vehicles and drive a little slower than normal."
