Have your fortune told at the CMU Psychic Fair

The fair starts at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4.

Professional fortune tellers will mesmerize Central Michigan University students at the annual Psychic Fair from 6-10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4 in the Bovee University Center Rotunda.

At 5 p.m. the public will be able to sign up for an appointment with an available fortune teller. The five psychics presenting the event will provide psychic services like palm and tarot card readings.

“It’s free and open to the public and anyone can do it,” said CMU Program Board Executive Director Angela Distelrath. “Sadly, (with the great turnout it has had in the past) we do end up having to turn away students at the door.”

To schedule an appointment with a psychic, participants must sign-up at the event and have some form of I.D. to secure a time slot.

“It’s typically very popular whenever we’ve brought it," Distelrath said. "We usually fill up by the time appointments begin at 6 p.m."

There are only 80 appointments available at the event, each lasting 15 minutes each. Participants can select an open time slot that fits best with their schedule, but spaces are limited.

Program Board members will also use the event to promote upcoming events for the rest of the semester.
