Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort bringing taste and tunes to Mount Pleasant with 'Bourbon and Bacon' on Sept. 29

Meat, bourbon and music-lovers, rejoice! The first-ever Bourbon and Bacon Sampling Fest will begin at 2 p.m. on Sept. 29th at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. 

Food and spirits from Saginaw, Mount Pleasant, Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Bay City will be featured during the 2-5 p.m. day session and 7:30-10:30 p.m. night session.  

Spirits from CH distillery, Blanton’s, Buffalo Trace, Bulleit Bourbon, Lagavulin and more will be available for sampling as well as bacon-themed meats from Smokey Bones, Slo’ Bones, Blue Cow, Slows BBQ, and Bone Daddy’s BBQ. 

“I think everything (about the event) will be nice” said Sue Cater, Soaring Eagle’s Guest Relations Coordinator. “The whole thing in general is a good party time.” 

Entertainment will be provided by country singers Walker McGuire and Eric Paslay and rock bands Stone Clover and Cheap Trick.

Tickets are on sale now on the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort website, ranging from $40-$100. Tickets include a sampling of 12-16 spirits, 15 meats, a commemorative tasting glass and seating for the Eric Paslay and Walker McGuire concert or the Stone Clover and Cheap Tricks concert.
