Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort will close at 5 p.m. Monday, March 16 until further notice.

According to a press release on its Facebook page, Soaring Eagle also postponed or canceled all "reservations for meetings, events, overnight stays, scheduled performances, promotions" and offers through its loyalty program.

"We will continue to monitor updates and recommendations from the Mid-Michigan Center for Disease Controls or CDC," Soaring Eagle officials stated in a press release.

The closure comes after Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer ordered all bars, restaurants and other entertainment venues to close due to the coronavirus concerns today.

Other Michigan casinos are closing at 5 p.m. today, including MGM Grand Detroit and MotorCity  Casino, for at least two weeks, according to press releases from the casinos.
