UPDATE: Suspects from armed robbery still at large

Central Michigan University sent out a Central Alert reporting that there was an armed robbery at the intersection of Preston Road and West Campus Drive around 12 a.m. on July 11.

The investigation is an open and ongoing, according to an email update from Central Michigan University Police Department around 1 p.m.

The Central Alert reported that they were four suspects -- described as three white males and a white female.

CMUPD's email update stated that nobody was injured during the robbery. 

"Police from multiple agencies searched the area and the suspects were not located," the email update from CMUPD stated. "There are no safety concerns for CMU’s campus or any need to avoid the area.

"If you have any information in regards to the identification of the suspects, please contact the Mount Pleasant Police Department’s anonymous tip line at 989-779-9111 or Isabella County Central Dispatch at 989-773-1000," the email from CMUPD stated."
