How to be an anti-racist flyer

Ibram X Kendi, the author of "How to be an Antiracist," will be speaking to Central Michigan University at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 2. on Webex.

Kendi, a professor of history and international relations and the director of the Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University, will inform participants on the details of his book.

Multicultural Academic Student Services Assistant Director Wade Tomson organized the event with Kendi. He said he felt learning to be anti-racist is a relevant and timely topic to bring to campus.  

He encourages people to attend and become inspired to learn more about their own behavior. Tomson recommends people sign-in early because there will be 500 attendee maximum. A 15-minute period at the end of the session will be dedicated to answering questions.
