Board of Trustees to discuss the continuing effects of COVID-19

Central Michigan University's Board of Trustees will meet virtually on Dec. 2 and 3 to discuss the university budget and continuing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The committees will meet from 1 to 4:05p.m. on Sept. 23 to discuss the post COVID-19 realities for higher education, the university's plan for the Spring 2021 semester and 2020-21 fiscal year financial update. The committee meeting schedule is:

  • Enterprise Risk, 1-1:50 p.m.
  • Academic and Student Affairs, 2-3 p.m.
  • Finance and Facilities, 3:05-4:05 p.m.

The formal session will be at 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 3. Other agenda items for this meeting are the possible remodeling of the Troutman Residence Hall and the election of the new Board of Trustees officers for 2021.

Public comments will be allowed for the formal session by filling out a request online and providing the comments in advance. 

Due to the virtual format, during this meeting public comments will not be delivered in-person.

The committee meetings and formal sessions will be available for the campus community and general public to watch virtually.
