UPDATE: Police release names of two injured in Sept. 12 shooting

The Mount Pleasant Police Department released the names of two injured individuals following a shooting that took place Sept. 12.

Fred McNelly, 20, and Kobe Holliday, 19, both of Warren, were injured. They are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries in a nearby hospital.

Police responded to shots fired at about 2 a.m. in the area of Kinney and High Streets.

The police are currently investigating the situation and no arrests have been made as of 10:30 a.m. MPPD ask if anyone has information to contact the Mount Pleasant Police Department’s Anonymous Tip Line at (989) 779-9111 or Central Dispatch (989) 773-1000. 

MPPD was assisted by Central Dispatch, Isabella County Sheriff’s Department, Central Michigan University Police and Michigan State Police.
