A 20-year-old man from Mount Pleasant was arrested yesterday after attempting to rob the Right Way Auto at 1119 S. Mission Street.

Officers from the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded at about 10 a.m. according to a Jan. 20 press release.

Upon arrival, officers were told that the man brandished a gun and fled the scene in a vehicle stolen from the Right Way auto lot. Dealer employees were able to give a description of the man and stolen vehicle.
