Fans packed McGuirk Arena in all white to support the men's basketball team in hopes of getting its fourth straight win.

The Chippewas kept themselves in close range before the half but Buffalo put the Chippewas in a 16-point deficit in the second half. Long spurts of empty baskets by the Chippewas grew Buffalo's lead and cost them the chance to make a comeback.

The Chippewas (5-14, 4-4) lost the fight to the Bulls 74-54 (11-8, 5-4).

The Chippewas leading scorer Ralph Bissainthe had a career high of 19 points and four assists.  Kevin Miller was not far behind with 14 points.

Buffalo's leading scorer Jeenathan Williams had 19 points and five assists.

The Chippewas will hit the road to take on Ball State on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
