MainStage is once again kicking off the Fall 2022 semester for students at Central Michigan University.

On Aug. 28 from 4 to 7 p.m., MainStage will be held on Franklin street across from the Park Library. Over 300 tables representing registered student organizations (RSOs), campus departments, club sports and more will be available for students to learn more about and sign up for.

MainStage was created to highlight the many student clubs and organizations that students at CMU can join. The event, run by the Student Activity and Involvement center (SAI), offers students food, entertainment, resources and several giveaways.

“Research shows that when a student is involved outside the classroom, they’re more likely to persist through college to graduation,” said Molly Schuneman, associate director of student involvement. “We want all of our students to be successful and getting involved is a necessary step.”

Schuneman strongly encourages students to join a student organization, student employment, or an additional activity that they enjoy as a way to become involved on campus.
