Central Michigan University’s Park Library will host an Adobe Creative Jam session on Sept. 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Opperman Auditorium.

The event is intended for faculty, staff and students of all majors to learn how to use Adobe Premier Rush from an Adobe expert and to compete using digital literacy skills.

Participants will enter one of two competition categories, novice or expert, based on ability and prior experience with Adobe Premier Rush. Food will be provided at the kickoff event.

“There are different ways to document your skills, and Adobe videos are an amazing way to do so,” Ann Kucera, Park Library system librarian said.

After the session, participants will have two weeks to create a 60-second video with content of their choosing. Participants can visit the Adobe Lounge for help.

One winner, selected from each category, will be announced in October at a viewing party in the French Auditorium. The time and date are to be determined. The winner from each category will receive a mobile phone video content creation kit.

The signup for the Adobe Creative Jam is located here. If there are any questions or concerns, contact kucer1a@cmich.edu.
