President's office: University graduated more than 2,000 this spring

Earlier this month, more than 2,000 Central Michigan University students graduated from their programs, ready to enter the working world. 

There were two ceremonies on Friday, May 5. 

At 10 a.m. approximately 98 students graduated as the class of 2023 from the CMU College of Medicine. They were the seventh class to graduate from this program at CMU. 

At 3 p.m., close to 550 students graduated with various graduate degrees, including masters and doctorates. 

Saturday, May 6 had two undergraduate commencement ceremonies. At both the 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. ceremonies, there were close to 750 graduates. 

The number of graduates at each ceremony is according to the Office of the President
