Breaking: 47-year-old man found deceased in Island Park

The Mount Pleasant Police are investigating a drowning after finding a 47-year-old man dead in the river near Island Park early Sunday Morning.
The MPPD was called to investigate the scene at 8:22 am.
"This is an open and on-going investigation, however, no foul play is suspected," according to an MPPD press release.
MPPD was joined by the Michigan State Police, Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Police, Mobile Medical Response and others.
The MPPD said this is an open and ongoing investigation.
Mount Pleasant Police are asking if anyone has information to call the Mt Pleasant Police Department's Anonymous Tip Line at (989) 779-9111 or Central Dispatch at (989) 773-1000.
Central Michigan Life called the MPPD, but was unable to get an immediate response.
