Baseball vs. Northern Illinois
The Central Michigan University baseball team fell 12-1 in the first game against the Northern Illinois Huskies during the baseball game at Keilitz Field in Theunissen Stadium on Friday, May 1, 2026. Redshirt freshman catcher Logan Keilen scored the only run of the game for the Chippewas off of senior catcher Spencer Verburg's RBI triple. The team will host NIU for game two on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 1 p.m.
