Football vs Colgate Action
Central Michigan University defeated Colgate University 13-10 at Kelly/Shorts Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026. After a blowout loss to New Mexico, CMU was looking to improve offensively and defensively. However, two turnovers and a missed field goal led to the Chippewas down 10-0 at halftime. On their first drive back from half, senior quarterback Angel Flores lost a fumble, but bounced back the next drive with a 50 yard touchdown run defensively. CMU recovered four turnovers, including a game-winning interception by senior linebacker Mayson Hitchens. The Chippewas return back to Kelly/Shorts Stadium to face off against Wyoming on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026.
