Football vs Colgate Feature
The Central Michigan University football team defeated Colgate 13-10 in the 2026 season home opener at the football game at Kelly/Shorts Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026. Fifth year quarterback and senior runningback Vaughn Blue each contributed a touchdown to the Chippewas. Additionally, Flores led the team in rushing yards gaining 130 and with Blue leading in receiving yards with 29. The team will host Wyoming on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026.
