Central Votes hosted a Fire Up to Vote event in celebration of National Voter Registration Day on Sept. 20 in the Fabiano Botanical Gardens. Central Votes registered students to vote and helped with absentee ballot applications. "We even had goats, because when you vote you are the goat," said a Central Votes Facebook post.

The President's Office holds a Welcome Back Ice Cream Social Wednesday, Sep. 7 in Warriner Mall. The event, which served as a way for members of the CMU community to interact with President Davies and other students, featured ice cream, drinks, and fruit.

The 34th annual Michigan Indian Family Olympics was held this past weekend at CMU's Bennett Track and Field. Roe v. Wade protest Friday, June 24 in Detroit

Pro-abortion rights group the Michigan Coalition for Reproductive Liberation holds a rally and march in protest of the Dobbs v Jackson supreme court decision, which overturned Roe v Wade, thus ending the federal right to abortion on Friday, June 24, in Detroit, Mich.
