CMU Faculty Ricky Clarkson, known to the campus community as "Professor Bird," helps host an open dance battle in collaboration with the Mount Pleasant School of Dance Sept. 11. "The whole point of this is to say we're here," Bird said. "It's a haven for dancers of all styles to come."
