Korean Beef Lettuce Wraps Yield: 6 servings Cook time: 10 mins Prep Time: 5mins Total Time: 15 mins Ingredients 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1 pound ground beef 3 cloves garlic ¼ cup brown sugar ¼ cup soy sauce ½ teaspoon fresh ginger ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper Salt Pepper ½ cup sliced green onions Lettuce Rice: 3 cups rice 3 cups water Instructions Cook the rice according to instructions on box. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the ground beef in the sesame oil. Add the garlic towards the end of browning and cook for a couple of minutes. Drain the fat. Add the brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, salt, pepper, and red pepper. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors. Serve over steamed rice and lettuce. Then top with green onions.
