SportsTime Ohio to televise pair of men's basketball games

The Central Michigan men's basketball team has picked up two more television appearances this season.

CMU's Feb. 8 game at Buffalo and Feb. 16 game against Eastern Michigan at the CMU Events Center will be televised on SportsTime Ohio as part of a 34-game agreement released Wednesday by the network and Mid-American Conference.

The announcement brings the total number of TV appearances for the Chippewas to six. Their Nov. 16 game against Hawaii from Honolulu, Hawaii, will be televised live at 4 a.m. on ESPN.

CMU's Dec. 18 game against Detroit and conference games against Akron (Jan. 30) and Kent State (Feb. 5) will be shown on ESPNU.

The women's basketball team will also make an appearance on the network, as its Jan. 22 game at Bowling Green will be televised on STO.

The Mid-American Conference and SportsTime Ohio entered into an agreement earlier this year that will have the northern Ohio regional sports network televise 34 men's and women's games during the 2010-11 season, including coverage of the conference's postseason tournaments.

SportsTime Ohio is available in Michigan on Comcast channel 900 and throughout the state of Ohio.
