Bowling Green came out swinging.

And didn’t miss.

Hit after hit, after hit.

18 total, with each player in Bowling Green’s line up collecting at least one hit a piece.

After beating Bowling Green in the first two meetings, anything and everything that could go wrong for Central Michigan did in its third meeting with the Falcons on Sunday afternoon in a 17-8 defeat.

Starting pitcher Nick Deeg struggled in his start last week, that continued on Sunday when Deeg lasted only four innings after throwing 108 pitches while giving up five hits, three earned runs and three walks.

Almost every Falcon had a big day as a hitter.

First basemen Jeremy Shay had four RBI’s, three hits and two runs.

Designated hitter Trey Keegan had three hits, two runs and two RBI’s.

Shortstop Brian Bein had two runs, two hits and three RBI’s.

The list goes on and on.

Since playing Michigan State last week, CMU has committed 17 errors in four games.

CMU is 2-2 in those games and still holds onto first place in the Mid-American Conference West division.
