Baseball moves Friday game to Grand Rapids due to weather


The Central Michigan baseball team will play its Friday game against Kent State in Grand Rapids due to snowfall in Mount Pleasant on Wednesday.

Mount Pleasant was hit with 5.2 inches of snow Wednesday according to accuweather.com and was hit with another 1.2 inches on Thursday.

CMU (4-17) and Kent State (14-5) were have a three-game series this weekend. Friday's game will be at the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex on the campus of Davenport University. This will be the first game of Mid-American Conference play of the season for CMU.

The Chippewas and Golden Flashes were predicted to win the Mid-American Conference East and West Divisions respectively. 

The location of the Chippewas' games on Saturday and Sunday is still to be determined.
