Bestselling travel author to speak on campus

Bestselling travel author Rolf Potts is speaking on campus at 3:30 p.m. on March 17 in the Charles V. Park Library Auditorium.

Potts will share how he went from a broke college student to a world traveler, travel tips and his theory of how a nomadic lifestyle can enhance one's life. The author has reported from more than sixty countries for publications such as National Geographic, Slate, Outside, Sports Illustrated and The Travel Channel. He is also the author of the book "Vagabonding: An Uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-Term World Travel," which promotes independent travel.

This event is sponsored by the College of Communication and Fine Arts and is free of charge.
