Get Acquainted day to host more than 60 organizations, businesses

Abbie Robinson | Staff Photographer Central Michigan University students and Officer Laura Rico dance to music at the Get Acquainted Day event held in Warriner Mall on Sept. 2.

More than 60 businesses and registered student organizations combined are tabling today for the 38th Get Acquainted Day.

Inflatables, a dunk tank, a live disk jockey, free giveaways and information on how to get involved in organizations on campus are available today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Warriner Mall.

"Get Acquainted Day is a more intimate environment than Mainstage," said D'Wayne Jenkins, assistant director for Multicultural Academic Student Services. "It's very similar, but on a smaller scale."

The annual event is hosted by Multicultural Academic Student Services.
