The Central Review literary magazine to host publication launch Nov. 18

Students will have the opportunity to hear poetry, prose and view art from the 2016 Fall edition of The Central Review from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 18 in the Baber Room of the Charles V. Park Library.

The event is free. Coffee and cookies will be provided during the 5:30 p.m. reception.

Produced once a semester, The Central Review is a literary journal which publishes fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction and artwork created by students.

Students can submit up to five poems, no more than three pages in length, and three pieces of prose 3,000 words or less. Student photographers can submit up to five photos.

Submissions should be sent to, along with a short, third person biography about three sentences long.

The next edition will be published in April.
