Moore Media Records is hosting a release party for its new indie-rock sampler at 10 p.m. March 30 at Centennial Hall in downtown Mount Pleasant.

Local Michigan bands featured on the album, "Signals From the Other Side," such as Brites and Flight of Niko and Good Pictures and Swordfish, will play until 2 a.m. Doors to the event open at 9 p.m.

Tickets at the door are $8.

"Moore Media Records is really diverse musically," said Tustin senior Jack Cafretsas, a promotions staff member at the student-run record label. "We wanted to showcase the whole spectrum of local talent in Michigan."

Moore Media Records has produced several sampler albums featuring a wide range of music. In February, they hosted the "Finding Forever" release party to debut a hip-hop sampler of local artists.

Cafretsas said all musicians on the indie-rock sampler were selected because for their "unique sounds and energetic vibes."

Concert attendees who show their pre-purchased tickets at the concert will be given a copy of the album to take home, he said.
