The Wellspring Literary Series featuring writer Melissa Grunow has been rescheduled to 7 p.m. Monday, March 20 at Art Reach of Mid Michigan, according to the event's Facebook page.

It was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, March 13 but was postponed due to inclement weather.

Grunow will read next Monday at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway St. The event is free and open to the public.

The Wellspring Literary Series was founded by Robert Fanning, Central Michigan University assistant professor of creative writing, according to the CMU website. It has "has provided a forum for the Mt. Pleasant and Central Michigan University community to hear the work of established and emerging regional writers."

Grunow is an alumna of CMU, according to the university's events page. She is the author of "Realizing River City," which was selected as "Outstanding 'Memoir'" in the 2016 Independent Author Network's Book of the Year awards.

Graduate student Karli Henning will read her poetry to open the event. A book signing will take place after the event concludes.
