Trout Hall will be hosting its 22nd annual Legends of the Dark haunted campus tours and fundraiser event this week.

The walking tours will take place from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, Thursday, Oct. 19 and Friday, Oct. 20.

The event gives CMU students and community members an opportunity to hear haunted stories and explore some lesser-known areas of campus while raising money for a local charity.

This year, Trout has partnered with Isabella Country Restoration House and will donate proceeds to the organization, which addresses homelessness in Isabella County and provides immediate, temporary housing for homeless individuals.

The haunted tours leave every 10 minutes from the Down Under Food Court in the Bovee University Center and typically last an hour each.

Tickets can be purchased at the door of the Down Under Food Court for $5 or for $4 if purchased in advance in Trout Hall. There is a parental caution for anyone under the age of 13.

Attendees should arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled time of the tour.
