Attending college is a full-time job. Finding time to workout between a load of class hours and activities is a real challenge. Keeping up with your body doesn’t have to be impossible. Try out these easy tips to stay in shape while keeping busy.

Take the Stairs

Let’s face it: some days you aren’t going to have time to work out. When that happens, try to fit ANY sort of physical activity in wherever you can. That means taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Ride your bike instead of driving. Do anything you can to get your heart beating.

Prepare Your Week With Free Time

Take a look at your week’s schedule. Are there ways you can exclude certain activities to make room for new ones? Try meal prepping on Sunday : this takes away the hour or more you spend a day cooking. Fill that hour with a run or a lift.

Fight Through the Excuses

When you are legitimately busy until 6 p.m. or later (which a lot of people are) you “have no time.” This is completely understandable - people need time to rest. However, if you want to stay fit and get your exercise in then fight through the exhaustion. There is always time in your day if your force time into it.

It’s Not Easy…

...But it is possible. Your schedule in college should be full from morning until night. This doesn’t mean keeping up with your body is impossible. There are always ways to open your schedule for some physical activity.
