Program Board to announce spring concert guest on Jan. 8

The performing acts for the upcoming spring concert will be announced at the Spring Concert Reveal Party at 8 p.m. Jan. 8 in the Bovee University Center.

The event will be hosted by the Central Michigan University Program Board and includes free pizza, contests and a photo booth. Attendees will have a chance to win free tickets to the concert.

The event will begin with a 30-minute period where attendees can mingle and participate in activities. The official announcement of the performers will be made at 8:30 p.m.

The date of the concert and tickets prices will also be announced.

Since its creation, Program Board has brought several well-known artists to CMU for prices affordable to the student body. In addition to last year's DNCE concert, past spring concert guests have included Ozzy Osbourne in 1983 and Ke$ha in 2011.

Central Michigan Life will be streaming the announcement as it happens via Facebook Live, including interviews with representatives from Program Board after the announcement.
