The Mount Pleasant Craft Beer Festival to celebrate five years of giving back June 9

  More than 25 Michigan breweries will be at the fifth annual Mount Pleasant Craft Beer Festival on June 9. The event will take place in downtown Mount Pleasant's Jockey Alley.

The Mount Pleasant Craft Beer Festival is hosted by the Mount Pleasant Jaycees, a group of local individuals who give back to the community through volunteering, and the Bird Bar and Grille. 

All proceeds from the event will go to local non-profit organizations. Over the past four years, the Mount Pleasant Jaycees have been able to give over $100,000 to organizations throughout the community. 

General admission tickets are currently on sale for $20 and the at-the-door fee is $25. VIP Tickets cost $35 in advance and $40 at the door. VIP includes early admission, first access to limited quantity beers, snack, giveaways and more. 

Tickets are available for purchase at Ric's Food Center and The Shepherd Bar. 

 Doors open at 3 p.m. for VIP and general admission begins at 4 p.m.
