Central Michigan football defensive back Tee-ondre Harvey has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules, according to a CMU athletics press release.

Court records show Harvey was arraigned this morning after being charged in early February. Harvey was charged with a domestic violence misdemeanor.

Harvey's girlfriend told police Harvey "picked her up and slammed her on the bed." Then, she accused Harvey of biting her lip and breaking the skin. He didn't let her leave the room and he begged not to call the police, the report said. The report also noted the incident happened in Celani Hall on campus.

During arraignment on Aug. 29, Harvey plead not guilty.

"CMU Athletics holds each of our students to high expectations," the press release stated. "(We) will continue to monitor the situation and take additional action if necessary."

Harvey, a sophomore from Detroit, appeared in seven games in the 2017 season and recorded one tackle against Ball State.

After practice on Aug. 29, Bonamego spoke highly of their team rules and expectations.

"I'm very serious about (team rules)," he said. "The standard for an athlete is higher than that of a normal student. We represent CMU and CMU football. The bar is very high."
