Nineteen fashion merchandising and design students have been preparing all semester for the 3D Printing for Fashion Capstone Exhibition.

Fashion Merchandising and Design 565 students will display their work at the exhibition at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 in Wightman Hall room 226.

Michael Mamp, fashion merchandising and design program director said the event is being held to highlight the unique course and the fantastic work completed by students.

"This exhibition is a chance for students in FMD 565: 3D Printing & Fashion to exhibit the work they have completed this semester," Mamp said. He said the exhibition is a display of "work developed via the process of Design Thinking using disruptive technology such as 3D modeling and printing."

This is the fourth year this event has been held during the fall semester. Mamp said the event will be a great way for students to see how 3D printing can be applied to fashion.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
