NPR investigative journalist to come to CMU

Investigative journalist Mary Louise Kelly will be speaking about news, access and the role journalism plays in society today at an event on Oct. 6 at 7 p.m.
The event is hosted by WCMU Public Media, the NPR affiliate for central and northern Michigan, in partnership with CMU.
Kelly will be discussing news, access and the role journalism plays in society today.
She is the host of NPR's news program, All Things Considered and NPR's podcast: Sources & Methods, alongside she is also an award-winning journalist, for much of her worldwide reporting.
Kelly currently resides in Washington, D.C.. But, she is a graduate from Harvard University with degrees in Government, Romance Languages and Literatures.
The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. in Plachta Auditorium, with WCMU's News Director, Rick Brewer, as the moderator.
It will be open to the public and anyone can attend for free.
